How to order a drink in a bar-restaurant?
In restaurants with full bars (ie, there are regular tables to sit or eat at a counter and bar), it will have to order your cocktails in the bar? What if you are sitting at a table normal? Is it normal to order the mixed drink the waiter / waitress or should be directly from the waiter?
At a bar or restaurant, if you're sitting in a normal table, the waiter / waitress presented you the wine / drinks list allowing you to choose any drink cocktails or a bottle of wine. If you are presented only with the wine list, you can still ask for all kind of spirit / cocktail simply giving a name (if the mixture is unknown to the local, may well described by the waiter / barrister). In the case of an establishment informal, you can place your order at the counter full (drinks and food). It is not appropriate, but it is annoying. However, please remember that in a formal setting, the label dictates that drinks do not appear on the menu should not be ordered at dinner. The only exceptions are the appetizers, digestive and bitter.
