kitchen decorating ideas?
I'm wanting to paint my kitchen walls and cabinets. Everything in the kitchen is white, EXCEPT BAR IS BLACK WITH GRAY TIPS, And appliances are stainless steel. THEREFORE I WANT TO GET AWAY FROM WHITE. Any suggestions. I would like to throw in some RED.
The paint comes in all colors imaginable. I would a red on the walls and painting the cabinets or out of a color Nutral to balance the red and black. Perhaps the white cabinets would look good with black counters and red walls. Try painting the walls alone first, it is easy to paint one and not as much work as the cabinets will be. You can always go back and paint cabinets later. A faux finish on the walls jazz things up a lot. Change cabinet hardware (or add if not there) as knobs and pulls is another way to spice up the kitchen. The hardware comes in many styles and colors as well.
