Romantic picnic?
It's my first wedding anniversary this weekend and I'm planning a romantic picnic on the beach if the weather holds. Does any suggestions on romantic picnic food that travels well (an hour from the beach)? I'm not the best cook in all ....
Make a variety of finger sandwiches-Yo would make a sandwich of peanut butter and jelly, cut into four triangles, a tuna sandwich cut in the same way, a sandwich of cheese, peppers, salad chicken, cucumber. Only a few make creative sandwiches. Cut the crust off of all of them for what they are like tea, sandwiches wrapped in wax paper, plastic and then place them in a bag of frozen peas for the unit of hours. Add a bottle of wine or a tea house ready. Dip the strawberries and grapes in the melted chocolate and let harden on parchment or waxed paper. Place in a basket with a nice lining and has a simple but creative romantic picnic. If your husband does not drink wine refrigerator bottles of beer or other favorite drink. Think about what your favorites are, if none of the above appeal to you. But throw in somthing new and different to eat than keep it exciting. (A lot of stores carry small round trays of shrimp with cocktail sauce in the center) there is no preparation. That fun-have a kite that if is sufficiently ventilated.
