magnum rifle question?
was thinking of buying a rifle, lever action either 357 or 44 magnum deer, armadillos, coyotes and maaaybe. rabbits i pros and cons of each would be helpful (whether it will be a marlin) just to clarify the 44 mag is enough for deer? wop2-299 to I actually twisted the ankle in an armadillo hole in my front yard that was about 450 for hospital bills, more coming soon I have a garden and do not appreciate them digging it up just saying
357 Mag is the minimum caliber for deer, and has limited reach, with good shot placement required. 158 points used to semi-soft grain jacketed reloads in me with good results. The magnitude 0.44 is a better option, offering higher performance and smaller terminal end. The MAG 357 can be SPCL .38 ammunition firing cheaper for smaller creatures without breaking the bank. With the magnitude 0.44, it can fire special ammunition 0.4, but not SPCL as cheap as 0.38. Hope this helped. Shoot safe
