What is a good example of a dry table wine?
I'm on a diet low in carbohydrates but in the past that would occasionally have a glass of wine with dinner at a restaurant. I've read that dry table wines seems to be the lowest in carbohydrates. What are some examples of a table wine "dry" could ask for in a casual restaurant? Please give me wine types and brands. I am looking for something that could order just about anywhere you go. (Please keep simple answers ... I'm not a wine nut!)
Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc are both dry white wines. Sangiovese is a dry red wine.
