Can I use a Sharpie marker on the glass?
My friends and I want to decorate wine / pub glasses for each other, but not so many that we are decorating to spend a fortune on glass paint and supplies. I know that some people use Sharpie markers to make stained glass ... Does anyone have experience with them in glasses or other glass surface? I bought half of preparation for the execution and seal it with a clear glaze to ensure no go. I just wanted some opinions before wasting time. Thanks in advance!
The craft store has a couple of options - There is a queue of products that can be used to decorate glass to look like stained glass - if the glasses are just for looks as I remember then it works. There is also a special mark for Porcelina and glass - the color of glass / dish with them and then bake in the oven. The markers are about three dollars a piece, but not necessary, but a couple. This material can be washed by hand. Another funny thing - if you just look - puffy paint - is made of fabric, but also work on glass. Puffy paint also goes on sale frequently and comes in every color you can imagine - including glow in the dark.
